The largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe, and the second-largest in the world, is looking for a seasoned Suppor Analyst to join their Business to Business team.
The Application Support Analyst’s role is to provide applications support to business users and B2B accounts when they require assistance. With direction from Business Solution Managers, and with the collaboration of the Web developers in the application development team, the Application Support Analyst will perform the following System Development Life Cycle tasks which include, but not limited to, defining business requirements, creating functional specifications, end user documentation, unit testing, system integration and user acceptance testing and technical support.
The Application Support Analyst plays a key role within IT and other departments.
This role is one that requires alignment within IT, user input and involvement (as to web needs), and ultimately, one that requires a high level of communication and coordination with other departments.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and help solve the customer problems in ASPEN tickets which been assigned from L1 team.
Perform servers and interface health check monitoring.
Act as the single point of contact for the appropriate business counterparts to resolve application issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Continuously identify, analyze and document system/process issues to seek for improvements specifying their solution path forward contributing with theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
Organize training with key users as requested by superior, provide support during the training and contribute as appropriate. If required, facilitate these with peers and counterparts as required to achieve designated work.
Support application releases in respective system in cooperation with responsible Release Manager.
Work on operational excellence including creation and maintenance of standard operation procedures and user manuals for different systems.
Deliver on our project needs with our B2B systems and achieve agreed upon timelines for successful implementation.
Develop end-to-end understanding of business processes and demands in specific domain. Provide technical expertise in the specific domain, covering application set-up, customization and process flows, and configuration and reporting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Pro-active and customer-oriented mindset.
Knowledge of SQL programming.
Knowledge of MS Office, specially Excel and Word.
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written. Able to train users on web applications and produce documentation.
A strong, outgoing communicator, able to partner with users and manage project execution.
Previous work experience with website development for mobile devices.
Knowledge of how to maintain web servers, including basic networking, security, IIS and FTP.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Ability to manage effectively in a team environment, coordinating multiple tasks in parallel, many times with conflicting priorities.
AngularJS and Magic xpa experience would be a benefit.
Understanding of supply chain, ordering, warehouse and B2B systems (must understand concepts of purchasing, receiving, adjustments, inventory control, physical/cycle count, reconciliation, standard costing).
College or University degree with IT related studies or business management
Minimum of 1-2 years of progressive work experience.
